Laser Therapy

Rocky had a wound that Dr. Colgan treated with laser therapy.

Laser therapy is one of the newer treatments available for pets. It is a non-invasive procedure that improves wound healing. Laser uses different wavelengths of light to penetrate the tissues and stimulate the cells. Your pet feels a slight warming sensation and may even relax during the treatment. Many get sleepy afterwards.

The length and frequency of treatments depends on the condition being treated. Dogs and cats both benefit from it, and the treatments themselves are painless and non-invasive.
